Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Intelligence & Data Analyst to join our analytics team. This full-time, 1-year contract role offers a hybrid work model, with 3-4 days remote and 1-2 days in the office. The successful candidate will leverage expertise in data analysis and reporting, primarily using Microsoft Power BI, and support the integration of data sources into our Azure Lakehouse. Experience with data platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Data Engineers to configure our Data Lakehouse for efficient report generation from high-quality data.
2. Review and analyze data from multiple sources, providing clear recommendations to all organizational levels.
3. Participate in data governance initiatives to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
4. Ensure data quality and support enterprise-wide data structuring efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or related IT/data field.
• At least 3 years of experience with Business Intelligence platforms like Power BI, QlikView, or Crystal Reports.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and proficiency in SQL Server.
• Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Azure and data warehouse/lake architecture.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or R is advantageous.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility in working hours.
