Job summary

Nature's Path Foods in Richmond, BC, is seeking a BI Analyst to partner with Sales, Finance and Supply Chain. You will translate business needs into analytics solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, building intuitive reports and semantic models.

You will maintain data models, write advanced DAX, implement row-level security and RBAC, and drive automation and process improvements. The role requires a 4-day-per-week in-office schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in BI/analytics.
• Strong hands-on with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and DAX.
• Experience with row-level security, column-level filtering, RBAC, and data masking/anonymization.

Responsibilities

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Business Engagement & Requirements: Partner with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to understand processes and KPIs, lead requirements sessions, and translate business needs into clear analytical solutions.

Development & Delivery: Build and maintain Power BI solutions, including intuitive reports and dashboards, wireframes, semantic models, and advanced DAX within Microsoft Fabric.

Problem Solving & Analysis: Break down complex requests, investigate data discrepancies, ensure reporting accuracy, and drive automation and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field.

Minimum 4 years of experience in a BI or analytics role.

Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.

Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and DAX.

Experience with row-level security, column-level filtering, role-based access controls, and data masking/anonymization.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.

Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) data architecture, ETL, and data engineering using Python/PySpark.

Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer or Power BI certification.

Familiarity with ERP data.

Notes

Salary range: $85,000-$100,000, plus a 10% bonus.

This role is based in the Richmond office 4 days per week.
