Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Business Insights Developer to join our team in Oakville, Ontario. The role focuses on advanced ETL and BI solution development, leveraging SQL Server, SSIS and SAP Business Objects to deliver robust data insights.

You will model data, build reports, train users, and collaborate with IT groups to standardize data extraction for clients. The incumbent will work with internal and external stakeholders, produce concise reports, and contribute to a comprehensive BI

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in information systems, computer science or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of directly related experience in business analytics.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL, SAP BO, Crystal Reports and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver BI solutions for internal and external clients.
• Model and warehouse data to support concise targeted reports.
• Train end users on analytical tools developed by BI team.
• Create solutions in Excel, Crystal Reports and BO Enterprise.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Networks and Web teams to design BI solutions.
• Document functional and technical specifications.

Job Details

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advanced ETL development skills using SQL server, SSIS
• Advanced development skills using SAP Business Objects Suite
• Advanced data modelling and data warehousing skills
• Creating solutions for clients (internal and external) in a number of formats, including Excel, Crystal Reports, Business Objects Enterprise
• Work with the other IT groups such as Infrastructure, Networks, Web Application Development to design BI solutions for internal and external use
• Working with the technical team to establish protocols to extract data in a standardized process from a variety of data sources
• Training of end users on the analytical tools developed by the Business Intelligence team
• Writing functional and/or technical documents
• Analyzing large amounts of data to provide concise, targeted reports for internal and external clients
• The Business Intelligence Specialist will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree or above qualification preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of directly related experience in Business Analytics position(s)
• Advanced working knowledge with MS Office, SQL, Business Objects, Crystal Reports
