Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a Business Information Management Analyst III for their Toronto, ON/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
- The Business Information Management Analyst provides business technical leadership across a broad range of information management functions to support data and analytics. Works independently as a senior lead and may manage activities related to analysis, design, and support of business data management solutions on various projects.
- Acts as a subject matter expert with in-depth knowledge in their domain and broader related areas. Requires expert conceptual and practical knowledge.
- Possesses advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with fluency in one or two programming languages.
- Works autonomously on tasks and may coach or educate others.
- Leads projects with moderate to complex risk and resource requirements; experienced with large datasets and big data technologies.
- Keeps up-to-date with innovations in business information management.
- Familiar with visualization tools.
- Analyzes, designs, and develops data repositories, warehouses, marts, and ETL processes.
- Supports solutions and tools used across functional groups, including Data Scientists and Business Insights teams.
- Develops data frameworks and architecture for data features for Data Scientists.
- Supports data modeling to structure business data for various applications.
- Assists business teams in understanding and utilizing data and reporting solutions.
- Develops data roadmaps and strategies for data integration, transformation, and management.
- Adopts the Enterprise Data model as directed by the OCDO and data teams.
- Gathers and analyzes data requirements to develop information management solutions.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in SQL, Jira, testing, and Agile methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Management and testing.
- Experience with Oracle and banking sector.
- Reporting experience and JTMF testing experience.
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
- Relevant background in business administration, statistics, mathematics, science, or finance.
- Knowledge of data sources, tools, and reporting techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of market trends.
- Proficiency in analytical software and data analysis methods.
- Mentoring and coaching skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently, exercising sound judgment.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with discretion for confidential information.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
