Job summary

Veolia Canada is seeking a skilled electrical engineer to generate and approve critical deliverables, design control panels and power distribution systems, and apply expertise in hazardous location classifications. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical/Control Engineering and 3–5 years of industry experience, with a P.Eng license or candidate status, and bilingual FR/EN.

Expect 10% travel between Oakville and Montreal, with a commitment to inclusive hiring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years' electrical engineering in water treatment/oil & gas/chemical/power.
• Bilingual French/English is a strong advantage.
• P.Eng license or candidate for the engineering profession (PEO in Ontario, OIQ in Quebec or another Canadian province)
• Knowledge of NEC, UL508A, CSA standards.
• Excellent planning, communication, and teamwork.
