Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking an E&IC Engineer to lead electrical, instrumentation, and control design for water and related industrial projects. The role focuses on generation and approval of essential deliverables, control panel design, and system architecture within a safety-conscious, multidisciplinary team.

Required 3–5 years in relevant sectors, a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Control Engineering, and ideally a P.Eng or licensure. Some travel (~10%) is expected between Oakville and Montreal.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of electrical engineering experience in water treatment or related industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Control Engineering.
• P.Eng license or candidate in Ontario/Canada.
• Proficiency with NEC, UL508A, CSA standards.
• Excellent planning, communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (Oakville–Montreal).

Responsibilities

• Generate and approve critical engineering deliverables (P&IDs, diagrams, load lists, specifications).
• Design control panels, power distribution systems, control system architecture.
• Apply expertise in hazardous location classification, design standards, cable routing.

• Excellent planning, communication, and teamwork skills
• At least 10% travel (between Oakville to Montreal).
