About the Role

Under the direction of the North American eMobility Director, the candidate will lead sales and business development for Hitachi Energy’s EV Fleet charging solutions across North America. This includes crafting and executing a go-to-market strategy to meet key performance targets (e.g., orders, margins, delivery timelines). The role involves managing domestic and international business development, including commercial agreements, pricing, proposals, risk assessments, and sales strategies. The candidate will also act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring competitive bids, profitable orders, and customer satisfaction through cost-saving initiatives and high-impact solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development : Identify and pursue new opportunities in traditional and emerging markets.
  • Sales Strategy : Develop and execute plans to meet sales targets and ensure profitability.
  • Customer Engagement : Build strong relationships with key clients, resolve issues, and support their operational goals.
  • Market Leadership : Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events, influence product development, and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Team Leadership : Mentor junior staff, support complex negotiations, and guide proposal development.
  • Marketing Support : Create promotional materials, support product launches, and provide technical training to sales teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience : 5+ years in sales, marketing, or product management; experience in EV charging or transportation is a plus.
  • Languages : Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
  • Travel : 30–40% travel across North America and internationally.
