They will be comfortable initiating contact with prospective clients, opening doors, overcoming objections, and closing business in a competitive technical-services market.

  • Establish weekly prospecting, client-contact, opportunity-development, and proposal-follow-up objectives.
  • Maintain urgency and momentum throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Track all sales activities, opportunities, next steps, and expected revenue accurately in a CRM
  • Review lost opportunities and adjust the sales approach based on client feedback, competitor activity, and market conditions
  • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to develop commercially competitive solutions without transferring ownership of the sales process
  • Deliver agreed results for new accounts, new revenue, qualified pipeline, sales conversion, and territory growth
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager

  • Persistent and resilient when facing rejection, long sales cycles, or competitive pressure
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships without an existing introduction
  • Strong closing ability and willingness to ask directly for the business
  • Highly accountable, disciplined, and consistent in prospecting and follow-up
  • Competitive and results-oriented while maintaining professional, ethical, and client-focused conduct
  • Able to work independently, prioritize high-value opportunities, and maintain urgency
  • Uses CRM data and sales metrics to manage activity, pipeline, forecasts, and results
  • Comfortable being measured against clear activity, pipeline, conversion, and revenue expectations
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of business-to-business sales experience;
  • A science background (college, university) or equivalent gained through experience in a related field
  • Valid Provincial Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving history (abstract required)
  • Use of your own vehicle for travelling
  • An existing industry network may be a differentiator

  • This position will require work outside of regular work hours occasionally
