The Role
We’re seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team in Montreal and play a key role in managing and qualifying inbound interest from customers and partners. You will be on the front lines of the customer journey - engaging with prospects, identifying needs, and passing qualified opportunities to our sales and partnerships teams. This is an in-office role for someone eager to learn, grow, and have a real impact in a fast-moving AI company.

Located in the heart of Montreal, this role is for those who:

In this capacity, you will:

  • Respond promptly to inbound leads and partner requests via email, chat, and other channels
  • Qualify prospects and gather key information to assess fit and urgency
  • Schedule and coordinate handoffs with Account Executives and Partner Managers
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and manage your pipeline with precision
  • Help improve qualification workflows and playbooks as the team scales
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships to share feedback and optimize conversion
  • Report to the CRO and collaborate closely with the sales organization
  • 1–2 years of experience in a sales, BDR, or customer-facing role (SaaS/tech experience is a plus)
  • Excellent communication -written and oral- and listening skills in English (French is a plus)
  • Strong ability to qualify and lead prospects down a Botpress journey
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in an AI-driven business
  • Based in Montreal and available to work from our office full-time
  • Base salary + performance-based variable
