Job summary

Lactalis Canada is seeking a Business Development Project Management Intern for an 8-month winter contract. You will support and coordinate a variety of BD projects within the Yogourt and Cultured division, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects are planned, documented, and debriefed.

The role requires pursuing a PM-focused degree, strong MS Office skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint), and familiarity with SAP or Workfront.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree/diploma (3rd or final year) in business administration, food technology or engineering with a focus on Project Management.
• Working towards CAMP designation an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and populate a robust database to capture information pertaining to a range of projects.
• Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities in project information gathering, templates, automation, storage and retrieval, analysis and reporting.
• Assist through information gathering from various sources to help determine project risks and supports the implementation of mitigation/contingency plans to keep projects on track.
• Develop communication templates and overviews to support project planning, execution, and reporting.
• Other tasks as required as they relate to BD Projects and initiatives.

Job Purpose

As a member of the Business Development Team in the Yogourt and Cultured division, the incumbent will support and help co-ordinate the development and execution of a variety of projects and initiatives, including identifying and implementing Project Management process improvements. Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree/diploma (3rd or final year) in business administration, food technology or engineering with a focus on Project Management. Working towards CAMP designation an asset.
• High proficiency with standard office computer technology including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Knowledge of SAP and Workfront or similar Project Management Software.
• Good understanding of key Project Management tools and processes.
• Ability to work cross functionally and develop rapport with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and demands, adept attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive or confidential materials with complete discretion.
• Resourceful for problem solving and resolution
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual French / English an asset but not required.

Compensation:

As part of our commitment to fairness, trust, and transparency and our ambition to be an Employer of Choice, the base salary range for this position is: $21 - $22.50.
