Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Business Development Manager for Manitoba and Saskatchewan to lead sales of group purchasing services. You will prospect, close new clients, and drive adoption of eCPS platforms and program tools across the two provinces.

You’ll manage the sales pipeline, attend conferences, and leverage social media to promote CPS brands while coordinating with analytics to optimize pricing and rewards opportunities. This role offers a clear career path and benefits.

Qualifications

  • College or University graduate in Foodservice Management, Health Services, Administration, Hospitality or Marketing preferred.
  • Must have a minimum 2-year college degree or diploma.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as sales manager or operational manager in healthcare, institutional foodservice or hospitality setting.
  • Operations experience in healthcare, senior living, hospitality or food & beverages would be an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manages sales pipeline and new business development opportunities to prospect and sell new customers to the Avendra group programs.
  • Actively maintains ongoing sales contacts with potential prospects and represents the organization at various conferences and trade events.
  • Utilizes social media and sales tools to actively promote the CPS brands.
  • Manages competitive information and sales knowledge through Sales Force.
  • Reviews all channel opportunities to maintain an active pipeline.
  • Sell and drive adoption of eCPS programs including menu management systems and purchasing platform adoption.
  • Analyze price data with supply chain analytics to identify pricing advantages and rewards opportunities.
  • Prepares sales presentations and proposals using templates.
  • Support and represent the company’s industry profile by building client relationships and networks.

Job description

The Business Development Manager (BDM) – MB & SK is responsible for the overall sales management of the group purchasing services offering across Manitoba and Saskatchewan, including planning, execution, and prioritization of prospects within the assigned territory.

The BDM is also accountable for driving growth and increasing participation in CPS banner programs and services through the acquisition of new clients in both MB and SK markets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Actively manages sales pipeline and new business development opportunities to prospect and sell new customers to the Avendra group programs.
  • Actively maintains ongoing sales contacts with potential prospects and represents the organization at various conferences and trade events.
  • Utilizes social media and sales tools (Sales Navigator, etc.) to actively promote the CPS brands
  • Manages competitive information and sales knowledge through Sales Force.
  • Reviews all channel opportunities on a regular basis to ensure an active pipeline is maintained.
  • Responsible to sell and drive adoption of eCPS programs including menu management systems, controlled order guide, eCPS purchasing platform adoption, eCPS instructor, and other resources and tools to promote overall value of program
  • With support from supply chain analytics group, analyze competitive purchase data and completes price comparisons to identify into unit pricing advantages and program rewards opportunities.
  • Prepares sales presentations and proposals utilizing existing templates
  • Support and represent the company’s industry profile by participating in corporate and industry functions and events through building client and industry relationships and networks

The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $105,000.00.
