Major Global Luxury Hotel Group Role as a Business Development Manager

Managing a portfolio of Leisure Travel Agents and Travel Wholesalers.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year. Remote, WFH – but must be based in the Toronto region for travel to meet agents at Toronto hotels.

Requirements: Must have experience working with Travel Agencies and Travel Wholesalers.

The Business Development Manager role involves managing a portfolio of 40 Leisure Travel Agencies and 4-5 Wholesalers, ensuring regular contact and developing business relationships through webinars and in-person visits to promote the hotel group’s brands and products.

The role reports to the Team Lead of the Toronto region team, which holds twice-weekly meetings to share strategies and performance updates.

Responsibilities include analyzing market indicators, developing sales strategies, conducting virtual calls, training sessions, webinars, territory events, and in-person visits. The role involves delivering sales materials to maximize sales and reporting on KPIs, data, and ROI with support from the Team Lead.

The Global Director provides strategic direction, and the Business Development Managers execute these strategies within their territories.

This is a remote position within a close-knit team, with some travel required to meet with agencies.
