Position Overview :

Our client is seeking a motivated and personable Business Development / Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing leads, managing projects, and fostering strong client relationships within the furniture and design industry. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional social skills, a passion for interior design, and a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Follow up on provided leads and see them through to completion
  • Manage client projects from inception to delivery, ensuring satisfaction at every stage
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for clients
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors' offerings
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities

Requirements :

  • 3-4 years of sales experience in a relevant industry (e.g., lighting, flooring, furniture)
  • Strong project management skills with an emphasis on client satisfaction
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Background in interior design is an asset
  • Client-facing experience is preferred
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Ability to work from both Pickering, ON and downtown office locations
