What you can expect

As a Business Data Enablement Specialist, you’ll empower Amilia’s Data Solutions team by building toolkits, automations, and AI-assisted workflows to streamline how customer data is ingested, transformed, and validated from third-party platforms into SmartRec, our flagship product. The role involves programming, API integrations, and AI-driven solutions to help Data Solutions Consultants work faster, smarter, and with greater accuracy, delivering a smoother onboarding experience for Amilia’s customers.

Responsibilities
  • Build internal scripts and toolkits to automate data extraction, transformation, and validation.
  • Create reusable API connectors for platforms like Mindbody, Daxko, RecTrac, and CSI.
  • Develop workflows for importing data into SmartRec via APIs or automation tools.
  • Use AI frameworks (OpenAI, LangChain, HuggingFace, etc.) to enhance data mapping and cleaning.
  • Automate parsing of unstructured data (PDFs, CSVs) and validate data integrity.
  • Collaborate with Data Solutions Consultants to identify bottlenecks and build scalable solutions.
  • Document tools and deliver internal training to drive adoption.
  • Stay ahead of emerging tech in AI, automation, and integrations.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years in a technical role focused on automation, data tooling, or integration.
  • Strong Python or TypeScript skills.
  • Experience with REST / SOAP APIs and workflow tools (Zapier, Make).
  • Familiarity with AI APIs and frameworks.
  • Strong SQL and Excel / Google Sheets automation experience.
  • Background in SaaS, data workflows, or system migrations.
  • Bilingual (English and French) is a strong asset.
