About The Role

We’re seeking a Business Continuity Management Advisor to support our team. The Business Continuity Management team develops and tests programs to ensure critical business units are prepared for major disruptions and supports Crisis Management Committees during incidents.

This role is based at any of our main national offices, with a hybrid work model requiring attendance 2 days a week.

Responsibilities
  1. Support the management and implementation of Business Continuity Programs and preparedness initiatives.
  2. Governance of resiliency activities, including prioritization and transparency.
  3. Monitor risk resiliency through analysis of risk data and mitigation strategies.
  4. Assist in developing and testing business continuity plans and programs.
  5. Support resiliency software tools and contribute to their development and use.
  6. Coordinate testing of resiliency programs, including scenario exercises and evaluations.
  7. Collaborate with business units on contingency plans related to third-party risks.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in business continuity or related fields within insurance or financial industries.
  • Certification in Business Continuity or related designations (preferred).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability to support various business units during critical times.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Bilingual in French and English (preferred, especially for Quebec-based candidates).
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.
