TAG HR is seeking a Senior Business Consultant for a short-term engagement in the National Capital Region. You will perform market research, inventory assessments, and options analysis to support strategic decision-making.
You will engage with external providers, assess capacity and costs, identify risks, and develop actionable recommendations for senior management in both English and French. The assignment includes site inspections and stakeholder engagement.
Location: National Capital Region, ON/QC – Offsite / Field-Based
Compensation: $85-$110/hr Based on qualifications, experience, and final contract pricing

We are seeking a Senior Business Consultant for a short-term consulting opportunity supporting an operational planning and infrastructure assessment initiative within the National Capital Region.
The successful consultant will conduct a comprehensive assessment of available options to address an organizational infrastructure and operational requirement. The engagement will involve market research, inventory assessment, external stakeholder engagement, options analysis, risk assessment, cost and feasibility analysis, and development of actionable recommendations.
The consultant will be responsible for identifying and evaluating available facilities and service options, engaging with potential providers, assessing capacity and suitability, and recommending solutions that meet current and anticipated operational requirements.
The engagement requires a consultant who can independently conduct research, engage external organizations, assess multiple alternatives, evaluate risks and constraints, and translate findings into practical recommendations for decision-makers.
A report identifying and assessing available options within the applicable study area, including:
A summary of organizations and providers contacted, including:
A presentation outlining:
A consolidated set of final recommendations incorporating stakeholder feedback and supporting decision-making and implementation planning.

The successful consultant must meet the applicable ProServices Stream 9 – Business Consulting / Change Management, Category 9.3 – Business Consultant, Senior Level requirements.
The applicable education and experience combinations include:

The successful consultant must possess a degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution.
