Job summary

First West is seeking a Business Banking Advisor to manage and grow a portfolio of business banking members. You will deliver advisory services across retail and wealth management needs and pursue opportunities to expand relationships with current and prospective members.

You will develop long-term client relationships, conduct annual reviews, and collaborate with product specialists to meet branch goals while maintaining risk controls and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent required.
• Mutual Funds License required; completion of internal First West certification within timeframe.
• 4 years of retail/business/commercial lending or credit experience.
• Strong relationship builder and communicator; team oriented.
• Proficiency with MS Office; strong organizational skills.
• Sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes long term and weekly sales plans to retain and attract new business.
• Manages and grows a portfolio of business banking members and their financial needs.
• Provides ongoing advisory services and refers to product specialists as needed.
• Identifies and pursues referrals to achieve sales and growth targets.
• Maintains risk controls and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Maintains strong community networks to generate new business.
