As a key member of the IDEA team, the Business and Entrepreneurship Consultant provides hands‑on guidance to entrepreneurs throughout their business development, from start up to scaling. You’ll design and deliver high‑impact programs and services tailored to the needs of early‑stage ventures and expanding businesses across Mississauga.
Reporting to the Manager, Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, this role advances the City’s strategic priorities by working directly with entrepreneurs, contributing to digital marketing initiatives, cultivating strong business relationships, and measuring real economic impact through data‑driven insights.
The successful candidate will:
