Tri-global Solutions Group Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst (Oracle Cloud / Solutions Delivery) to join the Service Delivery team for WorkSafeNB. This contract role is primarily remote within Canada, with on-site work possible at Saint John as scheduled.

The BA will analyze and document processes, validate requirements, and lead readiness activities across a multi-year modernization project. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of IM/IT BA experience, strong stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of IM/IT BA experience.
• Oracle Cloud experience is a plus and beneficial for this role.
• Work delivered as required within a multi-year modernization project.
• Experience documenting current and future state processes, gaps, and readiness.
• Experience coordinating readiness activities, testing, and change impact assessments.

Responsibilities

• Develop current-state and future-state process documentation, gap analyses, requirements, readiness assessments and action plans.
• Prepare working-session materials with documented outcomes, decisions and owners.
• Support data readiness, testing, training, and cutover activities.
• Coordinate readiness actions and track risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Provide regular status updates to project leads and stakeholders.

WORK MODEL: The successful contractor(s) will be primarily working remotely. The contractor will be available on site as per the agreed schedule between WorkSafeNB and the contractor . All onsite work, when required, will be undertaken at one central WorkSafeNB office in Saint John, 1 Portland Street. All work must be performed from within Canada in accordance with network and data security policies. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada (e.g., Canadian citizen or permanent resident). Standard business hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Atlantic Time, Monday to Friday, excluding observed holidays. Regardless of location, the contractor must adhere to these Atlantic Time business hours.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

WorkSafeNB is undertaking a multi-year modernization to improve service delivery, simplify business processes, and strengthen access to reliable, integrated data. Its current environment includes aging operational systems, newer cloud platforms, and manual processes. The Core Operations Modernization Project focuses on transforming the systems and processes supporting prevention, employer services and assessments, claims management and rehabilitation, and benefits payment services. As the project moves from planning toward phased implementation, legacy systems and modern cloud solutions will coexist during the transition.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

The BA will report to the Manager of Business Solutions, with day-to-day work direction and priorities established in collaboration with the Project Manager and other Business Analysts. Those activities may include and are not limited to working with business and technology stakeholders to analyze and document current-state processes, identify readiness gaps and dependencies, facilitate working sessions, support data/process/documentation readiness activities, and coordinate assigned readiness actions.

Deliverables:
The resource will develop process maps, assessments, inventories, requirements and other analysis artifacts needed to prepare the organization for implementation as project demands dictate.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Must meet or exceed one of the following combinations of education or certification and experience in the resource role: Degree in Relevant Field (Bachelor’s Degree) or Information Technology (College Diploma (2yrs)) or In Relevant Field (College Diploma (2yrs)).
• Must have 5+ Years of IM/IT BA Experience.

SCORED REQUIREMENTS

• Experience supporting business analysis for enterprise information technology solutions, including assessing impacts to business processes, data, integrations, reporting, security roles, and operational procedures. (3 years+)
• Experience performing business analysis activities on a complex technology implementation, including requirements validation, process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. (5 years+)
• Experience documenting current-state and future-state business processes, identifying gaps, and defining operational impacts. (3 years+)
• Experience planning or supporting implementation-readiness activities such as business process validation, data readiness, testing, training, change impacts, cutover, and operational readiness. (3 years+)
• Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops with business, technical, project, and vendor stakeholders and translating outcomes into clear actions and deliverables. (3 years+)
• Experience developing structured BA deliverables such as requirements, process maps, gap analyses, decision logs, traceability matrices, readiness assessments, and action plans. (3 years+)
• Experience working with implementation partners or third-party vendors. (3 years+)
• Experience supporting user acceptance testing and business validation. (3 years+)

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

• Applicable Business Analysis certifications, such as: IIBA CBAP, CCBA, ECBA; PMI PBA; etc. are considered an asset. (Yes or No)
• Experience supporting complex transformation or technology initiatives, particularly within an Oracle Cloud environment, would be considered an asset. (Yes or No)

DELIVERABLES

The successful resource must deliver the following in order to successfully complete the engagement:

• Current-state and future-state process documentation, gap analyses, requirements, readiness assessments, action plans, decision logs, and other assigned business analysis artifacts.
• Working-session materials, documented outcomes, decisions, action items, owners, and target completion dates.
• Analysis and documentation supporting business process, data, testing, training, change, cutover, and operational-readiness activities.
• Identification, documentation, and tracking of readiness gaps, risks, issues, dependencies, and assigned actions.
• Regular status updates outlining progress, upcoming activities, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions required.

Performance and timelines: Deliverables will be completed in accordance with priorities and timelines established by the Project Manager. Deliverables must be accurate, complete, maintained in the designated project repository, and accepted by the applicable project lead or stakeholder. Updates and revisions will be completed within agreed-upon timeframes, and assigned actions will be tracked through to completion or formal reassignment.
