Job description

Our client, a large insurance company, is looking for a Business Analyst IV for a 7-month contract located in Toronto. This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst IV with a financial services background. This is currently a work from home position, with the potential to move to a hybrid in the future.

As a Business Analyst IV your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Organizing and documenting the process of translating business requirements into functional specifications

• Identifying stakeholder needs, conducting investigations, interviews, and formal or informal requirements gathering sessions.

• Validating and reviewing requirements to identify inconsistencies between business demands and project deliverables; ensuring that stakeholders are aware of these discrepancies and are capable of making informed decisions.

Qualifications required for the Business Analyst IV include:

• 7+ years of experience as a business analyst in a complex environment.

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Business preferred.

• Relevant Business Analyst certifications and designations will be an asset.
