Job summary

Intact is hiring a Business Analyst II, OPL to join our growing team in Canada. You will gather requirements from business units, analyze information, document specifications, and act as liaison between IT, users, and managers at different levels.

We expect at least 2 years in project and defect management, familiarity with Jira and Confluence, and strong analytical and communication skills. In Quebec, bilingualism is required; other candidates should be eligible to work in Canada.

Salary Range (but Not Limited To) 74,800 - 91,400 Annual Bonus Target, Based On The Base Salary, With a Potential Payout Of Up To Double The Target (subject To Personal And Company Performance) 7.5% As part of our commitment to Win As A Team, we share our success with employees through our annual bonus plan and Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) – with Intact matching 50% of your net shares. Our pension offerings provide flexibility and long-term security for our employees beyond their careers. Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About The Role

We’re looking for a Business Analyst II, OPL to join our growing team!

What You’ll Do Here

• Obtain requirements from business units using techniques such as interview and work sessions.
• Analyze information obtained from various sources, detail the high-level information and provide users with recommendations to their problems.
• Document requirements obtained from the business community using defined templates.
• Act as an intermediary between IT, users and managers from different hierarchical levels.
• Ensure the link between the business units, the technology teams and the support team.
• Facilitate working sessions with experts from different fields.
• Responsible for improving productivity and reducing risks and high costs through effective analysis.
• Identify the need for change to assess and communicate their impact.

What You Bring To The Table

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in project management and defect management.
• Knowledge of Contact PL, Maestro, Contact 360, Jira, and Confluence tools, an asset.
• Highly developed analytical skills facilitating problem solving.
• Demonstrated ability to cope with change effectively.
• Have initiative and is autonomous.
• Skills for time and priority management.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Knowledge of the Agile Methodology (asset).
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
