Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong ERP experience, specifically in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O), to join our Business Technology team. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency and continuous improvement across financial and operational processes through the effective use of our ERP platform.

As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure ERP solutions align with business objectives. You’ll play a hands-on role in requirements gathering, functional documentation, testing, and solution delivery, with a focus on maximizing the value and scalability of Dynamics 365 F&O.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to understand operational needs and translate them into ERP solutions using D365 F&O

• Provide expert guidance on Dynamics 365 F&O capabilities, best practices, and system functionality to align with business processes

• Lead the creation of high-level and detailed functional specifications, process maps, gap analysis, and future-state documentation

• Own functional areas within D365 F&O, ensuring robust system configurations, efficient process workflows, and optimized integrations

• Manage system enhancements, configuration changes, and reporting within Dynamics 365 F&O to meet evolving business demands

• Conduct system and integration testing, develop test plans, and ensure successful end-user adoption through training and documentation

• Maintain system documentation and support knowledge transfer to internal IT and support teams

• Monitor, triage, and resolve production issues in collaboration with business and technical teams

• Ensure all ERP-related activities comply with internal controls, including SOX compliance and change management procedures

• Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications and Experience

• College diploma or university degree in computing, finance, business administration, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Lead, with at least 3 years working directly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations

• Finance process knowledge and hands-on experience within D365 F&O is required

• Experience working with Azure DevOps for work item tracking and testing

• Experience participating in at least one full-cycle D365 F&O implementation is a strong asset

• Familiarity with SOX compliance and change control processes

• Experience supporting medium-to-large scale ERP environments with multi-location organizations

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and customer service skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• A Business Analysis certification (IIBA, CBAP, etc.) is considered a strong asset
