Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a CS/Data Analytics/IS program.
• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Familiarity with ETL, data quality, and relational databases.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) is an asset.
• Experience with Power BI, Excel is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Technical Analyst Co-op – Data Operations

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Analyst Co-op to join our Data Operations team. This role offers hands‑on experience working with data pipelines, CRM systems, and cloud-based data platforms.

The co‑op student will support ongoing initiatives including CRM platform migration, data processing, automation, and documentation, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure data quality and reliability across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in CRM data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading
• Support daily data operations, including monitoring data pipelines and troubleshooting data issues
• Help maintain and enhance ETL processes using Python, SQL, or other tools
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Work with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP) to support data storage and processing workflows
• Contribute to automation of manual processes using scripting or workflow tools
• Create and maintain technical documentation for data processes, pipelines, and workflows
• Assist in building or enhancing reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and support business needs

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a program related to Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL
• Familiarity with data concepts such as ETL, data quality, and relational databases
• Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) is an asset
• Experience with tools like Power BI, Excel, or similar reporting tools is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Have (Not Required)

• Experience with workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, Airflow)
• Familiarity with version control (Git)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Experience working with APIs or file-based data transfers (SFTP, CSV, etc.)
