Soho Square Solutions in Toronto is seeking a Business Analyst to support a payments-focused program, translating payment requirements into clear, testable specs for API-driven integrations.

You will gather business and functional requirements, write API specs, data mappings, and interface requirements, collaborating with developers, architects, and QA to ensure gaps are resolved and UAT signs-off achieved.

Formación

• Hands-on BA experience on API integration projects (REST/JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman or similar).
• Payments domain background: card, ACH, wires, RTP, or cross-border.
• Working knowledge of ISO payment standards, ideally ISO 20022 (pacs, pain, camt) and/or ISO 8583.
• Strong documentation skills: BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows.

We’re hiring: Business Analyst | Payments & API Integration

Soho Square Solutions is looking for a Business Analyst to support a payments-focused program for one of our BFSI clients. You’ll sit between business stakeholders and engineering, turning payment requirements into clear, testable specs for API-driven integrations.

What you’ll do

• Gather and document business and functional requirements for payment flows
• Write API integration specs, data mappings, and interface requirements
• Work with developers, architects, and QA to clarify requirements and resolve gaps
• Map payment messages and data fields across systems and partners
• Support UAT, defect triage, and sign-off

What we’re looking for

• Hands-on BA experience on API integration projects (REST/JSON, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman or similar)
• Payments domain background: card, ACH, wires, RTP, or cross-border
• Working knowledge of ISO payment standards, ideally ISO 20022 (pacs, pain, camt) and/or ISO 8583
• Strong documentation skills: BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows
• Comfortable working directly with technical and business teams

• Experience with payment migrations or ISO 20022 adoption programs
