Job summary

Delpath in Toronto, Canada is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a 7-month contract. The role requires leading requirements and analysis on large-scale transformation initiatives and coordinating with stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have strong Agile experience, deep regulatory knowledge in Wealth Management, and proficiency with Jira/Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. On-site work with standard hours and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of BA experience leading requirements on large-scale transformations.
• Strong understanding of Agile: backlog refinement, story mapping, sprint planning, user stories, acceptance criteria.
• 5+ years of current-state and target-state analysis, gap analysis, and process re-engineering.
• Regulatory and risk considerations in Wealth Management (CIRO, AML, Fraud, KYC).
• Proficiency with Jira/Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements and analysis for large-scale business and technology transformations.
• Apply Agile practices: backlog refinement, story mapping, sprint planning, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform current-state/target-state analyses and process re-engineering.
• Assess regulatory and risk considerations within Wealth Management (CIRO, AML, KYC).
• Document artifacts using Jira/Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Job description

Contract Duration: 7 months

Possibility of extension

Number of Positions: 1

Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (Possible OT)

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1. 1. 7+ years of Business Analysis experience (Demonstrated experience leading requirements and analysis activities on large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives.)
2. 2. Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices including backlog refinement, story mapping, sprint planning, user story development, and acceptance criteria definition.
3. 3. 5+ years of Experience performing current-state analysis, target-state design, gap analysis, and business process re-engineering.
4. 4. Strong understanding of regulatory and risk considerations within Wealth Management, including CIRO, AML, Fraud Management, and KYC requirements
5. 5. Experience with Jira/Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, PPT, and Word

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• experience within Wealth Management, Asset Management, Banking, or Financial Services environments.
• Proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools
• Proficiency with Postman and API testing tools

Best VS. Average Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have strong BA experience combined with Wealth Management experience and understanding.
