Job Details

Location Address – Hybrid work environment where the candidate will be required to work in office 4x per week (Monday To Thursday) at Scotiabank North, 40 Temperance Street, 15th Floor, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5H 0B4.

Contract Duration – ASAP – 10/31/2026

Possibility of extension – Yes

Conversion to FTE – 2/4 positions will be converted, based on performance

Number of Positions – 4

Schedule Hours – 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5hrs/week

Candidate Requirements

Must Have Skills:

1. 8+ years of experience in financial data management, performance measurement, or a similar role within the wealth management or investment industry (Proven experience in managing and validating large datasets)
2. Experience with performance calculation and reporting for various asset classes.
3. Strong understanding of financial instruments, investment performance metrics, and data quality principles
4. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Excel, and performance measurement systems

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Wealth Management
• Knowledge in finance or reconciliation is an asset.
• Experience working with AS400, Microsoft VBA, or VB .Net and Power BI
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker) and Agile development methodologies is preferred.
• MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CIPM)
