Project Overview
This role supports a province-wide digital health initiative aimed at transforming healthcare delivery through modern, secure, and integrated information and communication technology. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be central to the analysis, planning, and execution of key healthcare system integrations and improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document current vs. future state business processes
- Identify capability gaps and propose enhancements aligned with organizational goals
- Lead requirements sessions and workshops, particularly with clinical stakeholders
- Support implementation of healthcare platforms including Allscripts and EHRs
- Serve as a team lead for business analysis activities and coordination
- Leverage agile methodologies to develop usability-focused prototypes
- Collaborate with technical, operational, and leadership teams to ensure quality delivery
- Align work with applicable privacy and information management policies
Mandatory Experience
- 10 years’ experience in a business analysis role documenting current and future state business processes and identifying capability gaps in a project environment.
- 10 years’ experience implementing projects in healthcare environments. Activities should include facilitating requirements sessions and workshops with clinical stakeholders
- 3 years’ experience implementing the Allscripts suite of products in a clinical environment. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 3 years
- 5 years’ experience implementing Electronic Health Records (EHRs) in a clinical environment. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 5 years.
- 5 years’ experience in a business analysis team lead role implementing healthcare information system projects.
- 3 years’ experience using agile techniques to develop prototypes of healthcare information systems with the goal of improving usability and user satisfaction
Education & Certification
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Analysis, Health Informatics, or related field
- Certifications in Agile, Business Analysis, or Healthcare IT are considered strong assets
- Documentation of education and credentials is required at time of submission

- Role must be performed within Canada
- Position may involve working with Personal Health Information (PHI)
- Compliance with PHIA (Personal Health Information Act – Manitoba) may be required
