Position Summary

This role focuses on enhancing company profitability by analyzing data to identify operational inefficiencies. The Business Analyst will generate both ad hoc and standardized reports, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders based on thorough analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze category trends, promotion effectiveness, and product profitability, offering daily recommendations aligned with departmental strategies for both store and e-commerce functions.
• Review sales and financial data to identify sales patterns, potential growth categories, and perform cost-benefit and regression analyses.
• Prepare technical reports for distribution to stakeholders including store teams, category buyers, asset protection, finance, and executive leadership.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to address specific operational issues impacting profitability.
• Review KPIs regularly to evaluate company pilots, tests, and initiatives beyond traditional financial reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in grocery or retail.
• Strong quantitative analysis skills.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Ability to build effective partnerships.
