Position Summary:

The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in translating business needs into actionable insights and effective solutions. This individual will work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, analyze processes, and support the successful execution of key initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for continuous improvement, contributing directly to the achievement of organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements.
• Process Improvement: Conduct detailed business process mapping and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Solution Development: Create use cases, test cases, and workflow diagrams to support the design and implementation of tailored solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous testing to ensure solutions meet business goals and quality standards.
• Facilitation: Lead workshops and meetings to drive alignment, foster collaboration, and ensure shared understanding of objectives.
• Project Support: Partner with project managers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery by providing critical analytical support.

Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a consulting or project-driven environment. They will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible business language. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities are essential, along with a demonstrated capacity to build trust and collaborate effectively across diverse teams. A post-secondary degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Health, or Service Design is required. Additional certifications such as IIBA (CCBA, CBAP, CBDA, AAC), PMP, or PMI-PBA are considered strong assets. Finally, a passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility is highly valued in this role.
