Job description

Our government client is seeking an Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis in Ottawa, ON. To be considered for this position, you will need a minimum of five years of experience conducting economic cost modeling and economic impact analysis, including experience with cyber-related projects. About you
To be considered, you will need:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience conducting economic cost modeling, including analyzing the impacts of investments, programs, policy changes, or cyber-attacks.
  • Experience conducting economic analysis, such as cost-benefit and economic impact analysis, demonstrated through three (3) projects over the last seven (7) years.
  • Strong knowledge of methodologies and techniques for economic analysis and impact modeling.
  • Proven ability to develop schedules, resources, and strategies for completing complex projects.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present findings clearly.

About the role
If hired, you will:

  • Conduct economic analysis and impact assessments related to cyber breaches.
  • Develop methodologies, techniques, and strategies for analyzing damages and losses resulting from cyber-attacks.
  • Collaborate on the development of a Cyber Damage Assessment (CDA) tool to report on damages periodically.
  • Identify and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for cyber damage.
  • Provide stakeholders with insights on the economic value proposition of addressing cyber damages.
  • Prepare schedules and resource plans to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
