Profile

We are currently recruiting for a Aftermarket Business Advisor to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. The position reports to the Manager, Aftermarket Analytics. The position will have both technical components, such as accessing data and building Power BI reports, as well as analytical components, studying the resultant data for business insights and opportunities. The successful candidate will require comfort and experience in both components to effectively support De Havilland Aircraft of Canada’s aftermarket business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Access and translate raw data into business supporting reporting and analytics
  • Maintain and evolve pre-existing reporting and analytics
  • Coordinate with supply chain, inventory management, customer service and other aftermarket leaders to provide meaningful insight and support for their business areas
  • Support departmental initiatives and track key success indicators
  • Develop, implement and maintain standard governance packages in Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Study the latest aerospace trends, identifying business opportunities to establish and maintain De Havilland’s leading market share and ensure business' financial stability
  • Support other initiatives and projects as required

Qualifications

  • Intermediate level of experience in Power BI report creation
  • Intermediate level of experience in utilizing Excel to analyze data
  • Degree in fields of analytics or statistics, or 5 years of equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience in Power BI report development
  • Knowledge of the aerospace aftermarket industry is an advantage

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and a passion to tell a story from the data, to assist the business in make strategic decisions
  • Ability to interpret data and identify data trends
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
