Job summary

Spruce InfoTech Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a Telecom-focused role in Toronto. You will analyze and document requirements for web and mobile applications across Android and iOS, translating business goals into app features, wireframes, and user stories.

You will collaborate with product owners, mobile developers, UX/UI designers, and QA to ensure seamless UX, robust integrations, and clear acceptance criteria, driving high-quality mobile experiences in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Telecom, mobile app development and digital product ecosystems.
• Experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for web and mobile apps across Android and iOS.
• Create functional and non-functional specs including app workflows, UI/UX requirements, API mappings, and integration rules.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate business goals into features, wireframes, and user stories.
• Proficient with BA tools and methodologies such as Jira, Confluence, UML, BPMN, user journey mapping, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with mobile developers, UX/UI designers, QA testers, and product owners to deliver features.
• Identify gaps in app usability, performance, navigation, and backend integrations.

• Skilled in creating detailed functional and non-functional specifications including app workflows, UI/UX requirements, API request/response mappings, and integration rules.
• Hands-on experience working with product teams to translate business goals into mobile app features, wireframes, and user stories.
• Proficient in BA tools and methodologies such as Jira, Confluence, UML, BPMN, user journey mapping, and acceptance criteria definition.
• Strong collaboration skills for working closely with mobile developers, UX/UI designers, QA testers, and product owners to deliver app features successfully.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability to identify gaps in app usability, performance, navigation flow, and backend integrations.
