CAE Drummond in Drummondville is seeking a dynamic Business Development Specialist to identify and develop new opportunities across sectors, analyzing financing requests and supporting local SMEs. You will build a strong network with regional stakeholders, promote services, meet business owners, and collaborate with the Director on complex files.

This role offers growth within a community-focused SME financing team, with a hybrid schedule and paid vacation from start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Finance specialization or equivalent).
• 1–3 years of experience (skills and commitment valued).
• Strong interpersonal and business development abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Strong financial analysis and financial management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to take on challenges.
• Adaptability, autonomy, and versatility.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsabilités

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across various economic sectors.
• Analyze companies' financial statements in order to assess and respond to financing requests.
• Contribute to the development of the organization and increase its visibility within the business community.
• Maintain a strong network of contacts with economic stakeholders in the region.
• Promote the organization's services to various client groups throughout the territory.
• Meet with business owners/promoters and propose financing solutions tailored to their specific needs.
• Analyze applications, prepare files, and submit recommendations to the investment committee.
• Participate in managing complex files: Work closely with the Director to manage more complex cases.
• Manage your portfolio: Ensure the effective management and development of a client portfolio.
• Manage portfolio risk: Conduct annual reviews and analyze financial statements to assess and minimize risks.
