Job summary

Treasure Seeds Daycare in Alberta is seeking a reliable Class 4 driver with S endorsement to transport children safely between home, school, and the daycare. This part-time role combines driving with Early Childhood Educator duties in a nurturing program.

You will maintain vehicle safety, provide play-based learning, supervise activities, and communicate professionally with families and staff. The ideal candidate has First Aid/ CPR, a clean driving record, and ECE certification (Level 1–3).

Qualifications

• Valid Class 4 driver's license with clean abstract.
• S endorsement or equivalent safety training.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
• Experience with young children in licensed childcare.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a daycare vehicle to transport children between home, school, and the daycare facility.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain safety and maintenance logs.
• Maintain a safe, orderly environment on the vehicle.
• Follow traffic laws, licensing requirements and safety regulations.
• Build positive relationships with children and families during pick-up and drop-off.
• Support the play-based, child-led program as an Early Childhood Educator.
• Supervise indoor and outdoor activities and document observations as required.
• Communicate professionally with families and team members.
