Job summary

Air Liquide Canada is hiring a Bulk Truck Driver in Hamilton to deliver ALC's liquid and gas products by tanker truck. You will follow company guidelines, comply with transportation laws, and promote safety and quality objectives while ensuring accurate delivery documentation and billing.

The role requires a Class 1 trucking diploma, tanker experience, and the ability to obtain FAST card for US entry; you will inspect equipment, load and unload at customer sites, and maintain meticulous records

Qualifications

• Vocational diploma in Class 1 truck transportation.
• 1 year of tanker truck driving experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Class 1 driver.
• Ability to obtain a FAST card and enter the United States.
• Safety prioritized and attentive on the road.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ALC's liquid and gas products by tanker truck to customers.
• Obtain and verify route sheets and necessary documentation.
• Inspect equipment before departure and record any anomalies.
• Unload product into customer tanks following procedures.
• Provide accurate delivery slips and collect information for billing.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?At Air Liquid Canada, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.Airgas / Air Liquide is hiring a Bulk Truck Driver in HamiltonCollaborative work teamCompetitive compensation, $44.29/hr.Attractive pension planComprehensive benefits available on the 1st day of employment!Ultra-safe work environmentKey responsibilitiesThe main function of this position is to supply customers by delivering ALC's liquid and gas products by tanker truck in accordance with ALC's guidelines and procedures, using the appropriate equipment, complying with transportation laws and regulations, and promoting ALC's safety and quality objectives.Obtains the route sheet and ensures that it contains all necessary information; Gathers all documentation and equipment necessary for the route;Inspects equipment before departure and records any anomalies which must be corrected in the inspection report andinforms the maintenance coordinator and repairer. Reviews the condition of the roads to be used and customer requirements.Ensures that the truck is loaded in accordance with procedures and regulations; Upon arrival at the delivery point, checks the condition of the equipment and the customer's installation.Records any anomalies observed on site and submits them to their supervisor at the end of the route or contacts the repairer for any delivery non-compliance. Unloads the product into the customer's tank according to established procedures.Provide accurate delivery slips for all ALC products sold to customers to ensure accurate billing. Collect all relevant information in the barcode system.
