Job summary

Saskatoon Co-op is looking for a full-time temporary Bulk Petroleum Clerk to join our Bulk Petroleum team in Legal, AB. In this role, you will provide superior customer service and assist with sales of petroleum products.

We invite applications for the position of full‑time temporary Bulk Petroleum Clerk to join our team at our Bulk Petroleum team in Legal, AB. This position will be full‑time temporary until September 30, 2026. Open availability is an asset.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Bulk Petroleum Supervisor, the Bulk Petroleum Clerk is responsible for:

• Delivering superior customer service and assisting with in‑store sales of petroleum products.
• Provide information, assistance, and customer service to members that will promote the sale of petroleum products and meet the needs, requirements, and expectations of members.
• Operate computerized cash register to process payments for petroleum products and merchandise.
• Provide administrative and clerical support to ensure effective and efficient administrative operations in the Bulk Petroleum Department.
• Oversee the store price file, ensuring overall maintenance and accuracy.
• Maintains inventory levels and orders product and merchandise as required.
• Receives products in Mi9 and CRS mainframe.
• Processes invoices and transfers.
• Loading and unloading freight into the warehouse with using a forklift.

Who you are:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of administrative experience or relevant customer service experience
• Knowledge of petroleum products is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift valid forklift ticket
• Some lifting required, must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
