Job summary

Engineers and Geoscientists BC is seeking a Practice Advisor II (Built Environment and Seismic Initiatives) to join our Burnaby team on a 6-month contract. The role involves identifying, developing and monitoring professional practice resources and providing interpretation and education to registrants, government and the public.

• Registered professional with, or eligible to be registered with, Engineers and Geoscientists BC.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional practice and ethical advice to registrants and stakeholders.
• Project manage development and revision of practice guidelines and advisories.
• Develop and maintain relationships to improve efficiencies and knowledge sharing.
• Provide leadership to advisory groups and collaborate with regulators on practice resources.
• Support and raise awareness of the professional reliance model in BC.
