Engineers and Geoscientists BC is seeking a Compliance Auditor II to join our Burnaby team on a contract through June 2027. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and executing compliance audits, both individually and in teams, with responsibility for audit reports and program improvements.
Ideal candidates will have a engineering/geoscience background, active professional registration, and IRCA/ISO 9001 Lead Auditor credentials.
Engineers and Geoscientists BC is currently searching for a Compliance Auditor II to join our team in Burnaby on a contract until June 2027!
This role's primary responsibility is to plan, schedule, and execute compliance audits. This will be done both individually and as part of a compliance audit team (when auditing large firms). The Compliance Auditor II will also work on continuous improvement of policies and procedures related to the compliance audit program, and will support registrants, both individuals and firms, by answering questions and providing guidance related to the regulatory requirements of the Compliance Audit Program. The Compliance Auditor II will lead multi-auditor teams for large firm audits, conduct individual and firm practice reviews, and mentor and assist in the assessment of Level 1 auditors.
We are looking for auditors who have strong communication skills, flourish in a people-facing role, and enjoy working as part of a strong team. The successful candidate would help guide and support the professional practice of engineering and geoscience in the province.

This role offers a competitive compensation and benefits program including a salary within our hiring range of $99,000 to $110,500 (pro-rated based on the length of contract). For full-time contract employees on this length of contract, we offer:
