Whether you've got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you're looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.JLL is hiring a Building Operator to join the maintenance team at University Ave. The Operator will responsible for operation, maintenance and repair of, HVAC related equipment, building operations, lights/tubes, ballast, light lenses, ceiling tiles, systems furniture, plumbing, and electrical/mechanical systems and equipment.The Operator will participate in a rotating shift schedule (Monday-Friday) from 6:00am to 2:00pm or 7am to 3pm 8am to 4pm & 12pm to 8pm. The schedule operates on a two week rotation from day shift to afternoon shifts. You also must be available approximately once every six weeks for on-call coverage. There is complimentary on-site parking available to all staff.**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:*** Respond to tenant and user service calls and complaints as quickly and efficiently as possible.* Perform work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, etc.* Provide assistance as directed to other building operations staff in the areas of preventative maintenance, electrical maintenance, etc.* Perform water treatment testing and analysis, adjust and modify chemical feed to ensure proper levels are being maintained.* Act as relief for other similar positions whose incumbent may be absent from time-to-time.* Complete custodial housekeeping tasks in the mechanical/electrical areas.* Perform other related duties as required and reasonably assigned from time-to-time.**WHAT YOU BRING:*** 3 years' experience in building repairs/operations* Completion of BES certificate or a trade school are an asset* Basic Interpersonal skills demonstrating professionalism and commitment to service excellence.* Basic verbal and written communication skills.
