Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to tenant and user service calls and complaints as quickly and efficiently as possible.
• Change lights, tubes, and lenses as well as clean light fixtures.
• Provide assistance to other building operations staff in preventative maintenance and electrical tasks.
• Perform plumbing maintenance on fixtures, taps, washers, flush valves, etc.
• Undertake general repairs such as flooring, painting, locks and hardware.
• Inspect HVAC equipment and maintain records.
• Assist with water treatment testing and adjustment of chemical feeds.
• Act as relief for other similar positions when needed.
• Complete custodial tasks in mechanical/electrical areas.
• Undertake other related duties as required.

The Maintenance Operator will perform general maintenance at the property, in HVAC, building operations, lights/tubes and ballast maintenance, light lenses, ceiling tiles, systems furniture, plumbing maintenance, snow removal and electrical/mechanical maintenance.

Duties

• Respond to tenant and user service calls and complaints as quickly and efficiently as possible.
• Change lights, tubes, and lenses as well as clean light fixtures.
• Provide assistance as directed to other building operations staff in the areas of preventative maintenance, electrical maintenance, etc.
• Provide maintenance services in the area of plumbing, i.e. fixtures, taps, washers, flush valves, etc.
• Provide handyman services in the area of general repairs such as flooring, touch-up painting, locks and hardware, ceiling tiles, etc.
• Perform routine inspection and maintain records on HVAC equipment.
• Perform water treatment testing and analysis, adjust and modify chemical feed to ensure proper levels are being maintained.
• Act as relief for other similar positions whose incumbent may be absent from time-to-time.
• Complete custodial housekeeping tasks in the mechanical/electrical areas.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned from time-to-time.

Salary

Estimated compensation for this position: 57,750.00 – 63,000.00 CAD per year. This range represents the estimated base salary and actual compensation may differ. Final base salary is determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations. Some roles and employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, benefits, or other compensation.
