SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Building Operator Millwright with a strong foundation in Electrical and Mechanical systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid trade certificate and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preventive Maintenance and Repair of HVAC Systems
2. Read and interpret drawings
3. Practice safe work habits by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations
4. Work independently with limited supervision, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards
5. Write maintenance and technical reports specific to jobs
6. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance records and incident reports
7. Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment, including fan coil units, fan power boxes, and forced fans
8. Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment
9. Maintain building automation systems, including knowledge of Johnson Controls MetaSys platform

Communication and Documentation

Collaborate with colleagues to address maintenance issues and maintain accurate system configuration and maintenance documentation.

Knowledge & Skills

Proven experience as a Millwright with extensive mechanical knowledge. In-depth understanding of building automation systems and HVAC equipment. Strong troubleshooting skills, ability to work independently and in teams, excellent communication, attention to detail, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Licenses and Professional Accreditation

Relevant certifications, including Industrial and/or Construction Millwright 433A, are required.
