SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Building Operator Millwright with a strong foundation in Electrical and Mechanical disciplines to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a valid trade certificate and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of HVAC systems, including reading and interpreting drawings.
• Practice safe work habits by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial equipment, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations.
• Work independently with limited supervision while adhering to safety and housekeeping standards.
• Write maintenance and technical reports specific to job tasks.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance records and incident reports.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance of HVAC equipment such as fan coil units, fan power boxes, and forced fans.
• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment.
• Maintain building automation systems, including knowledge of Johnson Controls MetaSys Building Environment platform.

Communication and Documentation

• Collaborate with coworkers to address maintenance issues collectively.
• Keep documentation of system configurations and maintenance records up to date.

• Proven experience as a Millwright with extensive mechanical knowledge.
• In-depth understanding of building automation systems and HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of the interaction between building automation and security infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Licenses and Professional Accreditation

Possession of relevant certifications, such as Industrial and/or Construction Millwright 433A.
