Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Building Operator for our Calgary area Suncor Firebag In-Situ site on a FIFO 14/14 rotation, requiring a 4th Class Power Engineering certificate and ABSA registration.

You will conduct daily walkthroughs, perform minor HVAC/plumbing tasks, and coordinate with operations while using SAP to manage work notifications. Safety and adherence to policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily building walkthroughs of assigned portfolio and correct deficiencies.
• Liaise with Building Operations Administrators and occupants daily.
• Perform minor maintenance functions for HVAC and plumbing under supervision using hand and power tools.
• Assist with developing contingency plans for building HVAC systems and write procedures.
• Respond to service requests courteously and ensure follow-up.
• Use SAP for processing new work notifications and closing notifications.
