Black & McDonald is currently seeking a Building Operator to join our Facilities Management & Operations team at the Royal BC Museum in Victoria, BC! If you are a hands-on, customer service-oriented, and technically-inclined professional searching for the opportunity to build a solid foundation for your career, this position is for you. The Building Operator position is located in Victoria and will report directly to the Project Manager.
The Building Operator will be responsible for performing preventative and demand maintenance for the Royal BC Museum facility. As part of a team, the Building Operator will be responsible for monitoring the conditions within the facility and grounds to ensure that the building operates within the designed environmental thresholds. This will be achieved by executing the preventative maintenance plan, combined with a proactive approach to detect failures by performing inspections and correcting deficiencies.

Expected compensation for this role is a starting pay range between $28-$35/hour dependent on skills and experience.
