Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in building mechanics.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT is essential.
  • Fluency in French, both spoken and written.

Job Description

Join us as a Building Mechanics Technician in one of our offices in Quebec City, Saguenay, Rimouski, Rivière-du-Loup, Baie-Comeau, or Sept-Îles. You will be part of our Building Services team in Eastern Quebec, involved in designing plans and models, conducting surveys, and supporting engineering projects across various sectors. This role offers a dynamic environment and the chance to work with a passionate team that values initiative and trust.

We also offer a flexible hybrid work mode, allowing you to work from home and from our offices.

Responsibilities
  1. Participate in building mechanical design (plumbing, heating, and ventilation)
  2. Conduct field surveys and plan surveys
  3. Create drawings and models using AutoCAD and REVIT
  4. Ensure compliance with norms and standards for drawings and models
  5. Visit sites to carry out surveys or supervise work
  6. Assist in calculations and equipment searches under the supervision of the project engineer
  7. Support the production of plans and specifications, and analyze data
Qualifications
  1. College diploma (DEC) in a building mechanics-related field or equivalent
  2. At least five years of relevant experience
  3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT
  4. Fluent in French, both spoken and written
  5. ASP Construction card (asset)
  6. Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
