Atlantic Cannabis is hiring a Budtender for our Bay Roberts, NL location. This entry-level, part-time role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience, helping guests choose cannabis, accessories, and apparel, and representing our brand with knowledge and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in retail/customer service.
• Experience in cannabis retail is an asset.
• Must be 19+ and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Criminal Record Check required; reliable transportation; flexible schedule.
• Attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers select cannabis, accessories, and apparel by asking questions.
• Provide high-quality customer service to ensure customers leave with the right products.
• Educate customers with knowledge of in-store products and industry news.
• Participate in staff education, merchandising, and promotional activities.
• Maintain clean storefront and professional displays.
• Process transactions with accuracy and handle issues with management.

What you’ll do

Budtenders are front and center for all the action. They are the liaison between the product and the customer, the brand ambassadors, and the friendly faces of our organization. We're looking for Budtenders to become local cannabis experts and develop long lasting relationships with our customers by providing an exceptional customer experience.

Being a Brand Ambassador for ACL.

Responsibilities

• Helping customers select cannabis, accessories, and apparel by identifying their needs and wants through helpful questions and conversation.
• Providing high quality customer service to all customers, ensuring each customer leaves with the products they came in for, or an alternative substitute we have available in-store.
• Educating and conversing with customers by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of in-store products and keeping informed on industry-wide news..
• Participating in staff education, merchandising and promotional activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of storefront, including ensuring the cabinets and display cases look professional.
• Complying with all ACL policies and procedures, current and future.
• Handling transactions with 100% accuracy.
• Troubleshooting customer concerns and sharing solutions to issues with management.

What you’ll need

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail/customer service
• Experience working in a cannabis retail environment and/or with controlled substances is considered an asset
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 19 or older
• Complete a Criminal Record Check
• Have reliable transportation
• Able to work a flexible schedule
