Job summary

Atlantic Cannabis is seeking a Budtender in Corner Brook, NL to deliver an exceptional in-store customer experience. You will be the brand ambassador, helping customers choose cannabis, accessories, and apparel while maintaining product knowledge.

We value at least 1 year of retail experience, a 19+ age requirement, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Competitive wages, health benefits, and incentives are offered.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting cannabis, accessories, and apparel by identifying needs through conversation.
• Provide high quality customer service and ensure customers leave with desired products or suitable substitutes.
• Educate customers on products and stay informed on industry news.
• Maintain storefront cleanliness and professional display cabinets.
• Handle transactions with accuracy and participate in promotions and staff education.

What you’ll do

Budtenders are front and center for all the action. They are the liaison between the product and the customer, the brand ambassadors, and the friendly faces of our organization. We're looking for Budtenders to become local cannabis experts and develop long lasting relationships with our customers by providing an exceptional customer experience.

• Being a Brand Ambassador for ACL.
• Helping customers select cannabis, accessories, and apparel by identifying their needs and wants through helpful questions and conversation.
• Providing high quality customer service to all customers, ensuring each customer leaves with the products they came in for, or an alternative substitute we have available in store.
• Educating and conversing with customers by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of in-store products and keeping informed on industry-wide news..
• Participating in staff education, merchandising and promotional activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of storefront, including ensuring the cabinets and display cases look professional.
• Complying with all ACL policies and procedures, current and future.
• Handling transactions with 100% accuracy.
• Troubleshooting customer concerns and sharing solutions to issues with management.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities. The Budtender agrees to learn/perform all reasonably assigned duties, as per their Store Manager or Retail District Managers instruction, to the best of their ability.

What you’ll need

• Minimum of 1 year experience in retail/customer service
• Experience working in a cannabis retail environment and/or with controlled substances is considered an asset
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 19 or older
• Complete a Criminal Record Check
• Have reliable transportation
• Able to work a flexible schedule
