Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent preferred.
• Willingness to work with live poultry.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in agriculture or food processing preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor feed and water levels to ensure flock health.
• Maintain ventilation and temperature as required.
• Collect and grade hatching eggs and manage records.
• Perform daily barn maintenance and cleaning.
• Assist with vaccination and flock management as needed.
• Complete paperwork accurately and keep daily records.
• Learn barn computer operations and CHEQ program.
• Data input using tablets or smartphones.
• Follow safety and bio-security protocols.
