Staples Canada in Calgary is hiring for a warehouse associate to support inbound and outbound operations. You will receive vendor purchase orders, process outbound orders, pick and stock products, wrap and load orders, and maintain housekeeping while following safety procedures.

This role may require operating warehouse equipment and may involve lifting up to 50 pounds. The shift noted is 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm with wage range between $16.45 and $19.40 per hour, with benefits including employee

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to become certified in, and operate warehouse equipment.
• Proficient in problem solving, communication, following directions, time management.
• Must be a team player.

Some Of What You Will Do

Perform system and/or manual tasks to support inbound and outbound operations. Identify and resolve issues in various functional areas; breakpack , breakdown, put away, replenishment, QC, staging, loading, shipping. Support efficient warehouse processing and maximize warehouse space usage. Perform work under the direction of warehouse lead, supervisor or manager.

• The employee will regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee may lift, lower, or carry products up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand.
• The employee may operate warehouse equipment. Using proper safety procedures will eliminate any potential hazards.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
