Job Description
WHAT'S THE JOB?
The Brand Specialist supports corporate brand initiatives and food program strategies within the Remote and Hospitality Division. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, Culinary & Sustainability, this role focuses on maintaining brand standards, operational excellence, and innovative marketing solutions. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, with strong marketing experience, organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain branding strategies and visual identity for business development, new openings, and site refreshes.
  2. Create and manage the 2025 image library for marketing and operational use.
  3. Support branding and marketing for new and existing business units as needed.
  4. Update and maintain the MicroMarket design package.
  5. Assist with new brand installations, site reviews, measurements, quotes, planning, and approvals.
  6. Develop marketing and merchandising strategies using current trends; adapt as needed.
  7. Build the merchandising section of the operational marketing guide, including:
  • Written content, imagery, and video assets
  • Training presentations and videos
  • Create merchandising guidelines for all stations, including seasonal updates.
  • Research and source smallwares, equipment, and display fixtures for food service areas.
  • Coach food service managers and teams on branding and food display practices aligned with standards.
  • Provide operational support, including training and location-specific plans.
  • Deliver training and coaching to ensure brand consistency and excellence.
  • Working Conditions:

    • Approximately 50% in food service environments or at Dexterra offices; 50% remote.
    • Travel across Canada required.

    Qualifications

    • Diploma or equivalent experience in marketing.
    • At least 2 years in marketing or merchandising, preferably in foodservice.
    • Experience in foodservice environments preferred.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office skills.
    • Willingness to travel across Canada.
